Larimar: The Caribbean Gemstone

Breathtakingly beautiful & unique… this Atlantis gem was rediscovered in 1974 by Miguel Mendez & peace corps volunteer Norman Rilling. Natives believe the gem came from the sea calling it “blue stone” (piedra azul) - but once the mine was discovered Miguel took his young daughther’s name Larissa & the spanish word for sea (“mar”) and formed Larimar.
